It is an Aglianico that in its youth appears energetic and somewhat impetuous, but over time, aging in the bottle, it rounds out and harmonizes all its components.
It pairs perfectly with all meat-based main courses, flavorful and not too structured.

Strictly manual harvest, in the second/third decade of October

Traditional vinification with skin maceration for 10 days

Aglianico in purezza aged 18 months in barrique
With its 35 years of age, Canneto is one of the historic labels of the D’Angelo Winery. It is known for being one of the first wines in Southern Italy to be aged in barrique. It is a balanced and harmonious Aglianico to be uncorked on any occasion. Its name refers to the numerous reeds, easily found in the various vineyards, which are of fundamental importance in their planting and cultivation process.

Harvest strictly by hand, in the second/third decade of October

Winemaking traditional winemaking is medium-long and lasts 15 days in small fermenters of 80 hectoliters.

Aging 18 months in barrique, followed by an additional aging in bottle for 6 months
