Symbolic wine of the new enological reality of Montefalco, the Sagrantino Collepiano draws its strength from a centuries-old tradition and the uniqueness of the native Sagrantino grape. Collepiano is the production area of Sagrantino and indicates the gentle slope of our hills.

The “Montefalco Rosso” symbolizes the strong connection of the wine with the territory of Montefalco; it is produced with grapes of the variety ‘Sangiovese’ and, in small percentage, with ‘Sagrantino’ the maximum expression of that typicity always supported by Arnaldo Caprai.

CHARACTERISTICS
Aged for 12 months in barrique, with a deep ruby red color, it has a broad and rich nose, offering intense and elegant floral and herbal aromas, hints of berries, spicy notes, and balsamic and vanilla nuances. On the palate, the wine unfolds with a full body and soft tannins, enveloping the palate elegantly with fruity notes. Harmonious and persistent finish.
