Organic peeled tomatoes Gustarosso follow the entire organic farming process. The fields of our organic tomatoes are in Southern Italy, in Puglia. The tomato is harvested, peeled and canned together with organic tomato juice.

The hill round tomato, what the English like to call Cherry tomato, is probably the most used in kitchens all over the world. Very versatile, it is suitable for practically every preparation of sauce, dressing, or as a side dish. The round tomatoes from Gustarosso come from all the member growers of Southern Italy.

Recommended preparations: round tomatoes stuffed with ricotta and salami; savoury tart with round tomatoes; bruschetta with tomatoes and vegetables.

The Lucariello yellow tomato is a natural hybrid between the cherry tomato varieties of the Agro-Sarnese Nocerino and the piennolo cherry tomato variety of Vesuvius. It is cultivated in the Agro-Sarnese Nocerino.

Yellow like the sun, it has a thick skin and particularly firm flesh. Also defined as a “traditional food product” by the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies; the Ministry, together with the Regions, have activated the necessary tools to safeguard these products as an expression of the traditions and culture of our land.

Recommended preparations: sea bream acquapazza with Lucariello yellow cherry tomatoes; scialatielli with seafood and Lucariello yellow cherry tomatoes; Apulian focaccia with mixed cherry tomatoes and Lucariello.
