BLANC DE MORGEUX ET DE LA SALLE 2023 - CAVE MONTBLANC
€ 27.30
FROM THE MINES TO THE GLASS:
The Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle from Cave Mont Blanc is a Valle d'Aosta DOP white wine that originates from the ancient Prié Blanc grape variety, grown in sandy and gravelly soils at the foot of Mont Blanc. This wine, vinified in white and aged in the Magnetite Mines of Cogne, expresses the purity and minerality of a unique terroir.
Grape variety: Prié Blanc 100%.
Aging: 12 months in the old Magnetite Mines of Cogne.
Tasting notes: Straw yellow with greenish reflections, on the nose it opens with aromas of mountain flowers, citrus, aromatic herbs, and a pronounced mineral note. On the palate, it is fresh, savoury, and well-structured, with a persistent finish.
Why choose it: A mountain wine with an authentic character and a fascinating history, an expression of an unspoiled territory.
