Colli di Luni Etichetta Nera Cantine Lvnae 2023

€ 33.70

{{Price Info 1}}

The first vintage produced dates back to 1992, after a long period of research and experiences in the field and in the cellar. The initial intention was to produce a wine that could testify to the great potential that this grape variety can express in our territory. Etichetta Nera is still born today as a result of that research.

Denomination: Colli di Luni d.o.c. Vermentino
Grapes: Vermentino
Alcohol content: 13 % vol.
Territory: Hills of Luni and Castelnuovo Magra
Vinification: Cold maceration on the skins for about 8 hours, fermentation at controlled temperature in steel, aging on fine lees in steel for about 4 months
Production method
The parcels that express the best organoleptic potential each year are selected. The grapes, hand-picked during the early hours of the morning, are then quickly transported to the cellar to undergo a brief cold maceration and subsequent vinification. The result is a wine rich in complexity: the traditional characteristics of vermentino are enriched and enhanced both on the nose and in the mouth.

Tasting
Pale yellow colour. The nose opens with hints of ripe yellow-fleshed fruit, particularly apricot and peach. This is enhanced by notes of acacia flowers and Mediterranean scrub, accompanied by briny and balsamic notes. On the palate, the freshness is vertical and vibrant, the sapidity balances a broad and round body, with good alcohol content. The almondy finish is long and persistent with a return of pleasant notes of ripe fruit.

Colli di Luni Grey Label Cantine Lvnae 2023

€ 27.00

Grey Label is the first wine made from the vinification of Vermentino grapes by Paolo Bosoni, over forty years ago. Today, as then, it follows the same path. Over time, it has become the emblem and icon of the winery.

Denomination: Colli di Luni D.O.C. Vermentino
Grapes: Vermentino
Alcohol content: 12.5% vol.
Territory: Hilly areas of Luni, Castelnuovo Magra, Sarzana
Vinification: Fermentation at controlled temperature in steel, aging on fine lees in steel for about 3 months
Production method
The grapes come from both owned vineyards and those of suppliers located in the hilly areas. The vinification is simple and respectful, aimed at enhancing the classic characteristics of Vermentino in Colli di Luni: freshness and elegance, expressed through floral and slightly fruity notes in the aroma, sapidity and balance on the palate.

Tasting
Light greenish-yellow. Intense bouquet articulated on citrus notes of lemon and lime zest. Hints of white peach, myrtle leaves, and chamomile complete the aroma. On the palate, it is soft and round, balanced between acidity and pleasant sapidity. Fruity finish of extraordinary persistence.
